Credit Risk Analyst

• Monitoring Facility Covenants:

  • Review and assess various financial covenants and reports, including interest covenants of property loans, Borrowing Base certificates, and Management Information/Year-end reports.
  • Ensure all covenants are included in Facility Letters and check covenant compliance prior to drawdown.
  • Produce quarterly monitoring reports for different types of loans and oversee general credit control of the lending portfolio.

• Credit Committee Support:

  • Perform administrative functions for the Credit Committee, including reading credit proposals and taking minutes.
  • Monitor the satisfaction of outstanding action items from the Credit Committee meetings.

• Portfolio and Risk Analysis:

  • Conduct periodic reports to assist in identifying and managing portfolio risks.
  • Prepare monthly management reports on the credit portfolio.
  • Stay updated with key developments in the UK economy and the property market.

• Ad-hoc Projects and Compliance:

  • Assist in various credit-related projects as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Bank’s procedure manuals and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in developing and implementing new or enhanced processes and compliance-related initiatives.

• Proven experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role within the Banking sector.
• Strong understanding of financial covenants, credit procedures, and compliance regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in report writing.
