THE ROLE

• Lead the development, execution, and refinement of credit risk strategies across acquisition, account management, and decision-making processes.
• Guide and mentor a high-performing credit risk team, promoting a culture focused on growth, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Own and continuously improve the credit risk policy framework, decision models, and governance structures to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Provide executive leadership with clear, data-driven insights into portfolio performance and emerging risk trends.
• Build and maintain statistical models (e.g., probability of default models, bureau-based and custom scorecards) to support credit underwriting and customer segmentation.
• Utilize credit bureau data (e.g., TransUnion, Experian) to inform, enhance, and fine-tune risk strategies.
• Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis and ensure high data quality through comprehensive cleaning and validation processes.
• Design and manage A/B testing frameworks to assess and optimize the performance of credit risk strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with credit strategy implementation
• Experience building scorecards
• SAS/SQL/ Python
• Experience with credit bureau data
