What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a vital role in delivering expert legal advice and robust representation to clients, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism throughout. Day to day, you'll:

• Provide clear, practical legal advice within your criminal law specialism
• Respond to client needs promptly and compassionately
• Manage case documentation, correspondence, and billing efficiently
• Support and grow your own caseload, while cross-selling the firm’s full range of legal services
• Represent clients at police stations and court (as a Duty Solicitor)
• Stay up to date with legal developments and participate in ongoing training
• Contribute to the firm's growth through client retention and business development

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and compassionate legal professional who can communicate with clarity and empathy. The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Solicitor’s Practising Certificate
• Duty Solicitor status (preferred)
• Solid experience or strong knowledge of Criminal Law and Road Traffic Law
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• A proactive, professional attitude to client care and teamwork
• Familiarity with Counsel and experts in the criminal law field
• A full UK driving licence
