Crime Solicitor 4-5 PQE

Hodge Jones & Allen LLP is a leading law firm committed to representing the rights of individuals and advocating for social justice. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crime Solicitor with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a diverse and challenging caseload involving serious criminal matters.

You will be involved in some of the nation’s most high profile cases, our ethos since 1977 has been to provide the best service to all clients from all walks of life, from the protestor to the murder suspect, from the shoplifter to the city trader. Whatever the accusation, we will fight their corner and ensure they are treated fairly and provided with robust defence.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting advocacy in both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, managing client relationships, and providing guidance throughout the legal process. Furthermore, you will have the chance to mentor and support junior solicitors and trainees within the team.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of criminal law and procedure, with proven experience in handling serious criminal cases. Excellent advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.

Demonstrated experience with clients from various backgrounds and a commitment to social justice are key aspects of this role. You should also be adaptable and able to work well within a collaborative team environment.

Police Station Accreditation and Duty Status are preferrable.
