A well-established, growing Merseyside law firm is on the hunt for a passionate Criminal Defence Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to play a key role in a reputable criminal department with plenty of opportunities for development, flexibility, and long-term career growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading and managing criminal cases in line with the 2025 Standard Crime Contract

* Representing clients at police stations and in court- your advocacy skills will shine here!

* Preparing and managing cases from start to finish, ensuring every detail is covered

* Working flexibly to cover occasional evenings and weekends for police station attendances

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 4 years’ PQE in criminal law

* Duty Solicitor qualified for both court and police station

* Deep understanding of criminal law and procedure

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills- you know how to make an argument count

* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability

* Comfortable with IT and case management systems (proclaim)

* Commitment to providing top-notch client service and professional standards
