Criminal Duty Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to join my clients team in their Dudley, West Midlands offices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with a focus on providing exceptional legal advice and representation to clients. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage various legal matters efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, advocating for their best interests.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and ensure informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case progress, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop strategies for complex cases and share best practices.
• Keep abreast of changes in legislation and industry trends that may affect clients or the practice.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Proficient in legal research methodologies and familiar with relevant legal databases.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear articulation of complex legal concepts.
