We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a varied CRM & Data Officer role. This position would suit someone who enjoys working with data, maintaining CRM systems and ensuring information is accurate, complete and kept up to date.
The Role
This role has a strong focus on CRM management, data administration and data accuracy, alongside customer service and general administration. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing and checking data, carrying out data cleansing and ensuring information is correctly recorded across the CRM. You will also provide support to customers and internal teams where required.
Duties:
Manage end-to-end data administration, including preparing files, processing information and carrying out detailed data checks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, ensuring all customer information is complete and correctly recorded. Carry out regular data cleansing, identifying and correcting duplicates, errors and inconsistencies. Maintain customer communication preferences in line with GDPR and data protection requirements. Accurately record customer interactions, contact outcomes and relevant information within the CRM. Upload and maintain event-related data and contact information, ensuring records remain current. Support CRM processes and identify opportunities to improve data quality and accuracy. Produce and maintain reports, spreadsheets and data documentation where required. Act as a first point of contact for customers via telephone and email, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently. Manage outgoing post, mailings and courier arrangements. Provide general administrative support across the organisation and assist different teams where required. Create and maintain process documentation and guidance. Identify opportunities to improve data processes, administrative procedures and overall efficiency.Requirements:
Previous experience within a CRM, data administration, database, customer service, administration or operations role. Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy. Confident working with CRM systems, databases and Microsoft Excel. Experience of data entry, data checking, cleansing or maintaining large volumes of information. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A confident and professional telephone manner. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies. A proactive approach with a genuine interest in improving data quality and processes. Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.
