CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance

An opportunity has arisen for a CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance to join a reputable leader in its market!

We're not here to bore you with corporate jargon or list every conceivable responsibility under the sun. You're a seasoned professional in risk and compliance; you know the drill.?

This is a hybrid role, working 2/3 times per month in the office.

AS CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance, your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership: Steering the Risk & Compliance ship, ensuring it's not just afloat but cruising smoothly.?
• Regulatory Navigation: Liaising with the FCA, PRA, and the Central Bank of Ireland, positioning the company as a model of regulatory engagement.
• Framework Development: Building and refining risk and compliance frameworks that are both robust and adaptable.?
• Cultural Influence: Embedding a culture where compliance isn't feared but embraced.?
• Strategic Input: Providing insights that influence business decisions, not just rubber-stamping them.

We’re looking for a CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance with:?

• Experience in senior roles in risk and compliance within the financial services or insurance sectors.?
• Familiarity with SMF4 and SMF16 responsibilities and have possibly dealt with PCF12 and PCF14 roles.?
• The ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business strategies.?
• A policy enforcer & a business enabler.?
• The gravitas to influence at all levels, from the boardroom to the break room.?
