CSCS Fire door installers

FBR Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting 10 experienced Fire Door Installers for a long-term project based in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and suitably qualified installers looking for a good run of work through until April 2027, with a competitive rate of £250 per day CIS.

For candidates travelling from outside the area, accommodation can be provided for the right individuals, making this opportunity open to experienced installers from across the UK.

The Role

You will be carrying out fire door installation and associated works, ensuring all work is completed to the required fire-safety standards and specifications.

Typical duties will include:

Installation of new fire door sets

*

Hanging and fitting fire doors

*

Installation of frames, ironmongery, closers, seals and associated components

*

Fire door remedial and upgrade works where required

*

Ensuring installations comply with relevant fire-safety requirements

*

Completing work to a high standard and within programme

*

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

To be considered, applicants will need:

*

Proven experience working as a Fire Door Installer / Fire Door Carpenter

*

Relevant NVQ and suitable trade qualifications

*

Valid CSCS card appropriate to the role

*

Strong knowledge of fire-door installation and compliance

*

Own tools

*

Good standard of workmanship

*

Reliability and ability to commit to a long-term project

An Enhanced DBS is desirable but not essential.
