CSCS Steel Fixer

We at Northbuild Recruitment are currently seeking to fill the below position for an IMMEDIATE start:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Steel Fixer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, positioning, and securing steel reinforcement bars and mesh used in concrete structures while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement schedules.

* Cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel bars and mesh.

* Position and secure reinforcement in foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs.

* Ensure reinforcement is installed accurately according to specifications.

* Work safely and comply with all site health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other trades.

* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
