Buckshaw Hospital, Chorley

Full Time - 37.5 Hours

The role:

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a CT or Cross-Sectional Radiographer to join our growing team. If you are looking for your next move and want to join a friendly team with a real sense of community within the working environment, then look no further!

With a flexible and patient-focused approach you will be working within a small team and have experience of building excellent relationships with patients and customers (both internal and external) to ensure we are delivering high standards of care and service. 
As a Radiographer, you will be part of a close-knit innovative team. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic outlook to ensure the delivery of a high quality diagnostic imaging service.  Candidates with previous MRI or CT experience need to be comfortable with a wide range of examinations in a busy site.

You will be supported by one of the UK’s largest private health care groups, who will ensure your continuous development and sponsor additional post-graduate and other learning courses.

Where you'll be based:

Buckshaw Hospital is the third day case hospital to have been built and opened by Ramsay in the last two years. The new development is located at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village, Chorley. It is an extension of services offered by Euxton and Fulwood Hall Hospitals. The Ramsay Team at Euxton and Fulwood are incredibly excited about the new hospital, not only does it provide further capacity to treat patients in and around the local area, but it develops the service model we already offer in the North West, delivering the best care and patient experience

What you’ll bring with you:

  • HCPC registered and a member of the Society of Radiographers.

  • Post qualification would be an advantage 

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

  • Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services

  • Knowledge of Simens Sola MR and Siemens go is desirable

It is desirable that the ideal candidate will practice CT colonography studies in both practical aspects and scanning. MRI experience is not necessary but would be preferred also.
