We are working on behalf of a forward-thinking college in the Newham area to recruit an inspiring Curriculum Manager - Foundation Learning (SEND). This is a fantastic full-time, permanent opportunity to lead and shape high-quality provision for learners aged 16-25 with special educational needs and disabilities, including supported internships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver a responsive, learner-centred curriculum in collaboration with local authorities and community stakeholders

• Line manage a dedicated team of teaching staff and job coaches, ensuring effective learner support and continuous staff development

• Deliver between 7-12 hours of teaching per week or act as a personal tutor to maintain strong learner engagement

• Drive quality through rigorous assurance processes, performance monitoring, and a culture of continuous improvement

• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, schools, and local organisations to ensure smooth learner transitions and holistic support

What We're Looking For:

• A degree or substantial relevant experience, ideally within a SEND context

• A full teaching qualification (or working towards one)

• Experience teaching or managing high-needs learner programmes

• A collaborative, compassionate leader skilled in managing complex behaviours and promoting inclusive practice

• Strong understanding of curriculum planning, learner support frameworks, and quality assurance
