Salary - £26,561.60 per annum, plus the opportunity to earn performance-related and target-based commisison.

Working hours/Shift patterns –

1) Outbound Telephone Sales Advisor - 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 09:30 AM - 06:30 PM, Friday: 09:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

2) Inbound Telephone Sales Advisor - 40 per week on a rotational shift basis between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM (Monday to Friday). Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1 in 3 weekends)

As an Outbound Telephone Sales Advisor within our outbound team, you'll be speaking to customers regarding mobile phone network services, new contracts, upgrades, and sim only deals. You’ll use your excellent communication skills to talk through the offers and deals we have, whilst making sure they have all of the information available to make an informed decision.

As an Inbound Telephone Sales Advisor, you’ll be speaking to our customers who have previously visited our Mobiles websites and are looking to purchase some of our amazing technology and services. 

 
Through effective listening, fact finding and matching the customers’ needs with our amazing technology and services, you’ll convert these calls into sales whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience and creating customers for life.  

Don’t worry if you’ve never worked in a telephone sales role, with our training and ongoing support you’ll be able to offer a world class sales experience.

Role overview:

As part of Outbound Telephone Sales Advisor role, you’ll be responsible for:   
 

• Proactively contacting customers who are new and existing Currys customers.
• Helping the customer understand the different handsets, deals and network providers we offer.
• Making sure the customer has the best possible sales journey by giving great advice and all of the options available to them.
• Building relationships with customers to ensure we're converting a one-time customer into a customer for life.
• Working towards and aiming to exceed sales expectations.    
• Putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.

As part of Inbound Telephone Sales Advisor role, you’ll be responsible for: 

• Exploring customer needs and offering suitable products and services from the Mobiles websites 
• Guiding the customer through the sales journey whilst ensuring they are kept fully informed 
• Working towards and aiming to exceed sales expectations 
• Delivering a best-in-class customer experience 

You will need:  

 
• A commitment to providing great service.  
• Customer Service experience, ideally within a Contact Centre environment.  
• Excellent communication skills.  
• Experience of working towards targets.
• An interest in technology.
