CUSTODIAN (Anegada)

The BVI Airports Authority Limited invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of CUSTODIAN, MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the Airport’s facilities while maintaining the relevant inventory levels. 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

• Ability to clean and maintain cleanliness.


• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.


• Good organizational skills.


• Sound customer service skills.


• Professional telephone etiquette.


• Good oral and written communication skill.


• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.


• Ability to take and follow instructions accurately.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweep and mop all areas of the Airport.


• Cleans all restrooms regularly.


• Replaces supplies to all toilets when the quantity runs low.


• Collects and disposes all garbage found in and around the Airport.


• Cleans all doors and windowpanes ensuring that the glass areas are spotless.


• Reports all fixtures or miscellaneous items that are in need of repair to the Supervisor – Custodian Services.


• Collaborates with team members to assist with all associated cleaning assignments for proper completion.


• Maintains all Operations offices in the terminal building.


• Performs all other duties assigned by Senior Management.
