We are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in the west Lancashire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service, account coordination and order processing experience who enjoys working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role will see you acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of customers, managing the order process from initial enquiry through to delivery and ensuring customers receive a high level of service throughout.

The Role

* Managing customer accounts and acting as a main point of contact

* Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

* Coordinating customer requirements with internal departments

* Monitoring orders and ensuring deliveries are made within agreed timescales

* Liaising with logistics, planning, sales and distribution teams

* Handling customer queries, delivery issues, complaints and claims

* Maintaining accurate customer and delivery information

* Providing regular updates to customers regarding order and delivery status

* Producing relevant order and claims documentation

* Identifying issues quickly and ensuring they are resolved efficiently

* Supporting strong ongoing relationships with customers

We are looking for someone who has experience within a customer service, order management or account coordination role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution or similar environment.

You will need:

* Previous customer service or customer account experience

* Strong order processing / order management experience

* Experience using SAP is essential

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong attention to detail

* The ability to prioritise a busy workload

* Confidence liaising with customers and internal departments

* A proactive approach to resolving customer and delivery issues

* Strong organisational skills
