Overview
NXT Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected business to recruit a Customer Care Assistant.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for customers, taking ownership of enquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and working closely with internal departments to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email
Manage customer queries from initial contact through to resolution
Follow up on outbound customer communications
Manage shared mailboxes and ensure all enquiries are responded to within agreed service levels
Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues efficiently
Investigate and manage customer discrepancies
Resolve customer queries at the first point of contact wherever possible
Produce customer reports accurately and within required deadlines
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and case updates
Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service while building positive customer relationships
Requirements
Previous customer service or customer-facing experience is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional and confident telephone manner
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues effectively
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with a customer-focused approach
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels\
GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
Desirable Skills
Experience using CRM or customer management systems
NVQ or equivalent qualification in Customer Service or a related discipline
