Customer Order Picker- with Fork Lift Truck Skills- Dayshift and Nightshift

We are currently seeking a Customer Order Picker with Fork Lift Truck skills to support our operations on both dayshift and nightshift.

In this role, you will play a key part in our logistics and delivery process, ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently. Your ability to operate a fork lift truck will be essential in facilitating the movement of goods throughout our warehouse and production areas. Responsibilities- Chilled Despatch Area

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
• Operate fork lift trucks to efficiently move products and materials within the warehouse and loading areas.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.

Hours of work

7 days over 14 days

7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM

£12.93/hour plus applicable shift allowance

• Valid Fork Lift Truck License (Counterbalance and/or Reach) is required.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse/production environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours on either dayshift or nightshift as per operational requirements.
