Customer Relations Specialist


We’re looking for a proactive, customer focused, and analytically minded individual to join our Customer Relations team as a Customer Relations Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding and enhancing the customer experience within a high-performing, service-driven organisation. Whether you’re an experienced complaints handler or someone looking to take the next step in customer relations, this role offers the chance to develop your expertise in complex complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.


 


The Role


In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex and escalated customer complaints, ensuring they are managed from initial receipt through to resolution in a fair, compliant, and timely manner. You’ll carry out thorough investigations, analysing each case to identify key issues, risks, and appropriate resolution pathways. Alongside delivering high-quality outcomes for customers, you will play an important role in identifying root causes, spotting trends, and driving improvements to prevent recurrence.


You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to resolve issues effectively and influence positive change, acting as the voice of the customer to shape better processes and service delivery. You’ll also contribute to maintaining operational standards by identifying and reporting process or policy breaches, while supporting delivery performance through activities such as managing courier-related issues to prevent complaints. This is a highly autonomous role where your judgement, organisation, and ability to manage multiple priorities will be key to success.


 


Who are we looking for?


We’re looking for someone who is confident, detail oriented, and highly organised, with a passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive or challenging conversations professionally and empathetically.


You might already have experience in complaints handling or customer relations or bring transferable skills from a similar role. Strong investigative and analytical skills, combined with the ability to identify trends and influence stakeholders, will be essential. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously, build credibility across teams, and confidently manage multiple cases while maintaining quality and accuracy. If you enjoy problem solving, driving improvements, and making a tangible difference to customer experience, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
