Job Description - Customer Service Administrator

?? Job Opportunity: Customer Service Administrator - 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with potential to extend)
?? Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
?? Salary: £26,000 per annum
?? Full-Time | Office-Based | Monday to Friday
?? Contract: 12-month temporary contract (maternity cover)

Are you highly organised with a passion for providing outstanding customer support? We’re looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join a growing business in the construction industry on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

?? About the Role

As a Customer Service Administrator, you’ll be a key player in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by supporting the internal sales and logistics teams. This role offers great exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and communication skills will shine.

?? Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers, contractors, and suppliers

  • Accurately process orders, invoices, and data

  • Respond to technical queries and sales-related enquiries

  • Resolve order, stock, and delivery-related issues through team coordination

  • Assist with project support and ensure timely delivery of services

  • Carry out general administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, and filing

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures

?? What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills:

  • Background in customer service, administration, or sales support

  • Industry experience in construction, manufacturing, or a technical field is a plus

  • Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy environment
