Location: Ellesmere Port (HRGO Recruitment Liverpool Branch)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000p/a plus bonus

We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly and supportive team. Someone who excels at organisation, communication, and candidate care.

About the Role

This is an administration and customer service-led recruitment position, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised, and making a difference. You'll support the recruitment process from start to finish, posting jobs, speaking with candidates, arranging interviews, and ensuring all the admin and compliance is correct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to person for candidates, from first contact to placement
  • Manage interview scheduling and candidate communications
  • Write and post engaging job adverts
  • Pre-screen CVs and conduct initial candidate calls
  • Format CVs and prepare candidate profiles for client submission
  • Handle compliance tasks, including reference checks and onboarding documents
  • Keep our recruitment systems and databases up to date
  • Collaborate with the wider team to meet client needs
  • Deliver a high standard of service to candidates and clients alike
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in recruitment admin, customer service, HR, or office support
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • A proactive and positive approach to teamwork
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with recruitment software or ATS platforms
  • Knowledge of basic recruitment compliance and onboarding processes
  • Familiarity with high-volume or temporary recruitment (desirable but not essential)
