Customer Service Advisor

Red Recruitment is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor in Nailsea to join an award winning Contact Centre.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have previous telephone-based experience.

The salary is £27,817 per annum.

• Salary: £27,814
• Location: Nailsea, South Bristol BS48 1WA (Free On-site parking)
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:30

Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:

• Dealing with inbound telephone calls, but striving to be a multi-skilled expert that can communicate with customers on many channels such as emails and live chat
• Provide first-class customer service skills, ensuring service levels remain a unique selling position
• Resolve queries at the first point of contact, where possible
• Resolve each enquiry within the designated timeframe
• Deal with complaints, potentially of an emotive nature
• Adhere with company policies, market code and compliance
• Constantly achieve top quality results, taking feedback on board

Skills of a Customer Service Advisor:

• Experience in a customer-facing environment, ideally retail or call centre
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong general IT knowledge - ability to learn new systems quickly
• Able to work within a team as well as individually
• Can work in a high-volume environment
• Can demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to improve performance through training and coaching
