Job Description - Customer Service and Sales Manager

Here at Charles Trent, we're looking for a people first, high energy leader with great experience in supporting strong, motivated teams and smashing sales targets.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to bring new ideas, opportunities and excitement to our amazing Customer Service and Sales team. This is your chance to take ownership of a pivotal department and make a tangible impact on a well known and growing business in the automotive recycling industry.

You’ll lead our recycled parts sales operations across telephone and email channels, covering both B2B and B2C markets. The role calls for a hands-on manager with a strong commercial focus, who knows how to bring out the best in people, implement smart strategies, and drive real results.

What You’ll Do

  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations for our sales and customer service teams
  • Inspire, coach, and empower team members to perform at their best and foster a culture of growth and positivity
  • Develop and execute smart, creative sales strategies to hit and exceed targets
  • Identify opportunities for growth, streamline processes, and improve both customer satisfaction and business performance
  • Utilise the latest technology and AI tools to improve team productivity and sales outcomes
  • Track, analyse, and report on key KPI data
  • Be the voice of the customer and lead initiatives that improve service quality and experience
  • Collaborate with leadership to scale the department and contribute to the overall growth of the business

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of management experience in a sales focused environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams to success, exceed revenue targets and provide support to the team
  • Strong understanding of both sales and customer service disciplines
  • A motivational leadership style that builds trust and performance
  • Experience with implementing technology and AI-driven tools to drive operational improvement
  • Excellent communicator with solid planning and organisational skills
  • Passionate about results, team culture, and delivering exceptional service
