Customer Service Assistant

• Job Type: Full-time office based (8:45am-5pm Monday-Friday)
• Salary: £28,000

I'm currently seeking a German Speaking Customer Service Assistant to join our clients Customer Services Department. This role involves providing accurate and timely processing and shipping of customer and distributor orders, maintaining customer records, and answering non-technical customer queries.

• Process sales orders and handle customer enquiries.
• Liaise closely with the Sales Team to understand and meet individual customer requirements.
• Maintain customer and distributor product reserves and standing orders.
• Use account software packages for various administrative tasks.
• Assist with stock control and periodic stock takes.

• Fluent in English and German.
• Educated to a minimum of GCSE level, preferably including Mathematics and English.
• Experience with direct customer contact and international shipping (training will be provided)
• Knowledge of sales order processing and stock control with a good telephone manner and proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in handling customer issues and complaints is advantageous.
