Job Description - Customer Service Coordinator

About the Position:

We are seeking a passionate Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic construction client in Essex. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the customers' home-buying journey, ensuring their experience is smooth and positive. You'll tackle exciting challenges, from resolving initial snagging issues to managing expectations, all while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional customer service.

Employment Type: On-site

Start Date: Immediate start

What You'll Do:

  • Guide and support customers through their new home purchase, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Resolve queries from the public affected by construction sites, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors and technicians to address issues swiftly and minimize disruption.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure all concerns are resolved to their satisfaction, enhancing customer loyalty.
  • Manage difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism, exceeding customer expectations.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of proven customer service experience, ideally within the housebuilding or construction sector.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, enabling effective interaction with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track and manage customer interactions.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer-focused environment, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and common snagging issues.
  • Ability to mentor or guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in housebuilding or construction.
