Role Purpose:
As a Customer Service Engineer, you'll configure applications and hardware on IT devices (desktops, laptops, servers, mobile phones, etc.) at a customer site. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team with clear career growth pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage and resolve customer calls, keeping customers informed and escalating when necessary.
Assist 3rd party IT companies both on and off-site as needed.
Configure applications and hardware on new and existing IT devices.
Support VIP users with a tight SLA when applicable.
Ensure timely and responsive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
Strong technical skills in hardware break-fix, software, and operating systems.
Able to obtain the required level of security clearance (with no caveats).
Full UK driving license.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with network operating systems, MS Office, and current Windows operating systems, including the use of remote software.
