Job Description - Customer Service Executive

Customer Service Executive – Harlow (Office Based)
£28,000

Are you a people person with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you’re the first point of contact for customers?

We’re looking for a Customer Service Executive to join a friendly, fast-paced team in Harlow. In this role, you’ll provide direct-to-consumer (D2C) support, ensuring every interaction is handled with care, professionalism, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and live chat—helping with product queries, order tracking, and issue resolution. The goal is to enhance the customer experience through timely, efficient, and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer inquiries about products and orders

  • Processing orders and handling returns or exchanges

  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues professionally

  • Making tailored product recommendations to improve the customer journey

  • Updating CRM and support systems accurately (Zendesk experience is a plus)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in D2C customer service

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure

  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail

  • A passion for sport is a plus!

  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service platforms (desirable)
