Job Description - Customer Service Executive

Customer Service Executive

  • Location: Lancaster
  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to join our client’s dynamic team based in Lancaster.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to our client’s customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders and documentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely despatch of customer orders in line with agreed lead times.
  • Maintain accurate records of all order-related information.
  • Provide real-time delivery updates via transport providers.
  • Accurately complete and manage documentation
  • Process and monitor customer orders.
  • Set up and maintain new customer accounts.
  • Handle a variety of customer interactions including calls, complaints, product enquiries, and order servicing.
  • Manage time effectively to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Take ownership of all issues and enquiries related to your assigned customer accounts.

  • Experienced in a fast-moving customer service role.
  • Punctual and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
