Customer Service Manager 

Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
Salary: £45K

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm or 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week

Fully officed based

We are recruiting for our client, a well-established business looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead and develop their internal sales team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys motivating people, improving processes and making a real difference to the customer experience. You will play a key role in supporting the team, driving performance and helping the wider business achieve its goals.

What you will be doing

Lead, motivate and develop the internal sales team
Set and monitor KPIs, targets and performance reviews
Support sales growth and maintain strong commercial awareness
Build excellent customer relationships and understand their needs
Work closely with sales, logistics, warehousing and other departments to ensure a smooth service
Identify opportunities to improve processes and make things work more efficiently
Organise training and support the development of team members
Use CRM systems to maintain accurate information and support the department
What we are looking for

Previous management experience within customer service or internal sales
Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
Experience using CRM systems, with Kerridge being a bonus
A commercial mindset and strong customer focus
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
Someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact
