A well-established contractor operating within the social housing and property maintenance sector is looking to recruit enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Agents to join its busy Customer Service Centre based in Leatherhead.

Working Hours
* £26,000 per annum
* 37.5 hours per week
* 7.5-hour shifts between 7:00am and 8:00pm
* Monday to Sunday, working 5 days out of 7 on a rotating shift pattern
The Role
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for residents requiring assistance with repairs and maintenance issues within social housing properties.
You will handle inbound telephone enquiries, provide excellent customer service, accurately log repair requests, and keep customers informed throughout the process. Working closely with experienced technical teams, you will help ensure repairs are resolved efficiently while delivering a positive customer experience.
This role would suit someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help people.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer inbound calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
* Log repair and maintenance requests accurately.
* Provide updates and reassurance to customers throughout the repair process.
* Liaise with technical teams and operatives to coordinate works.
* Resolve customer queries wherever possible or escalate when required.
* Maintain accurate records using internal systems.
* Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within a customer service or call centre environment is desirable.
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
* Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a varied workload.
* A positive, reliable and professional approach to work.
* Experience within social housing, maintenance or repairs is advantageous but not essential.
