Customer Service Respresentative

Hays are delighted to be partnering again with one of our clients in West Hull to recruit a customer service advisor within the transport industry. Ideally, you will have experience of working in the logistics sector, but if you have at least 2 years' experience in a customer service role, full training will be given. This is a great opportunity for you to develop and grow your career in the logistics sector.
Your new role
Working as part of the customer service team, you will be the first point of contact for clients, managing their order from query to delivery. You will work closely with the transport planning team to coordinate deliveries, work to agreed deadlines and keep clients updated on the status of their orders.
You will have an eye for continual improvement and be effective in liaising with your colleagues in sales and operations to ensure cost-effective shipping routes are utilised and developed.
What you'll need to succeed
With a minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional service. You will be confident in managing complaints and be proactive in seeking effective resolutions to any issues.
You will be passionate about developing your skills and knowledge within logistics and a strong team player.

What you'll get in return
37.5 hour a-week contract
Flexible start and finish times Mon-Fri between 7.30am-5.30pm
25 days holiday
