We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Support & Customer Service Coordinator to join our client's growing team in Braintree. This is a varied position that will play a key role in supporting customers, assisting the sales and estimating teams, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between customers and production.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and working collaboratively within a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries via phone and email in a professional and friendly manner. Support the sales and estimating teams with quotations, customer information, and administrative tasks. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are communicated to the relevant departments. Liaise closely with the production team to monitor order progress and provide customers with updates. Maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service and resolving queries promptly. Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, and sales documentation. Coordinate information between customers, suppliers, sales, and production teams to ensure projects run smoothly. Update and maintain customer records and internal systems. Provide general administrative support across the office when required.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, internal sales, or administrative role. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. A proactive approach and willingness to support different departments. Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience supporting quotations, estimating, production planning, or order processing would be advantageous.
