Customer Service Specialist – Account Operations

Location: Cambridge area
£28,000 per annum
Full-time, Permanent | Early finish every Friday

We’re recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join a busy team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, administration and Excel skills who enjoys working with customers and internal teams to manage orders from start to finish.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end customer order process
Respond to customer queries and provide regular updates
Process PO changes, returns, repairs and rework orders
Liaise with Production and Purchasing to resolve shortages and delivery issues
Maintain accurate customer and order information across SAP/CRM systems
Prepare quotations and work with customer BOMs and drawings
Support sales forecasts, job costing, stock takes and audits
What we’re looking for:

Previous customer service, customer support or sales experience
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – essential
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive, self-motivated and confident solving problems
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Manufacturing experience desirable
SAP knowledge desirable
Ability to understand technical drawings desirable
