Job Description - Customer Service Specialist - German Speaking

Join Ariat as a Customer Service Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our B2B retailers and D2C consumers across multiple markets.



About the Role:


In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with our Area Managers, Finance, Product, and Warehousing & Logistics teams to provide outstanding customer service. Your fluency in German and English will be essential in handling enquiries, resolving queries, and ensuring a seamless customer journey for our German-speaking customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:



  • Be the Voice: Respond to pre-order and post-order questions from German-speaking customers about product specifications, availability, payments, shipping, and delivery.

  • Provide Exceptional Support: Address consumer queries in German and English professionally and efficiently via phone, email, and live chat.

  • Support the Digital Experience: Guide customers through the online ordering process and manage website returns to ensure a smooth experience.

  • Keep Operations Smooth: Perform daily checks for fraud, inventory discrepancies, and order processing issues, resolving them proactively.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Contribute: Assist colleagues and participate in special projects that drive team success.



About You:



  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken), with the ability to handle queries professionally and effectively in both languages.

  • Thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

  • Demonstrates excellent multitasking, prioritisation, and time management skills.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a talent for streamlining processes and finding efficiencies.

  • Communicates clearly, confidently, and professionally in both German and English, across various platforms.

  • Comfortable using technology, including proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud and SAP is highly desirable.

  • Possesses a strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver outstanding service.

  • Brings a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented approach to their work.

  • Previous experience in customer service, particularly within the e-commerce sector, is an advantage.
