Job Description - Customer Service Supervisor

Our client:

  • Our client is market-leading food manufacturer and B2B supplier, renowned for their high-quality products that are available to grab on-the-go.

The role:

  • As the customer service supervisor you will oversee a team of customer service agents to ensure that they are fulfilling their responsibilities and taking calls to improve the customer experience.
  • The customer service supervisor is responsible for taking inbound calls to help and assist customers with any general queries or order support, as well as making calls consistently to customers to help sell new products into accounts and also upsell and introduce npd (in collaboration with field sales team)
  • The customer service supervisor will oversee the work of the agents whilst also making sure that day-to-day tasks are kept up to date.
  • The customer service supervisor will work cross functionally across all departments to ensure that customers have the best experience within the business.
  • KPIs of the customer service supervisor will be based on the success of the calls within the team. They will be responsible for coaching and developing call plans to successfully execute a great customer experience. There is a fantastic commission structure in place based on hitting these KPIs.
  • Office based position in west London. One weekend day would be expected fortnightly to help cover shifts.

Ideal candidate:

  • You will need to be a great communicator and be confident leading and managing a team of customer service agents.
  • The ideal candidate will be ambitious and see the value in the commission scheme.
  • You will have great organisation skills and be an all-round hard worker.
  • You will be resilient and happy making cold calls and speaking with a range of customers on the phone.
  • Team management experience is preferred. This could be from within a hospitality or other environment.

Benefits & details:

  • £31,000 basic salary + commission earning opportunity.
  • 5 days a week in their offices in west London 8-5pm
