Customer Service/Internal Sales

Alma Personnel are recruiting on behalf of their Walsall base client for a well rounded Customer Service/Sales Administrator with a hint of sales approach to their work.

In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for our trade customers, ensuring seamless order processing and exceptional service delivery. You will collaborate closely with our internal departments to maintain accuracy and efficiency across all sales support operations.

* Customer Engagement: Manage inbound phone and email inquiries from customers promptly and professionally

* Order Management: Process customer orders and provide accurate updates regarding product availability and tracking

* Sales Support: Follow up on sales quotations, manage inquiries, and maintain precise, up-to-date customer records in our database

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with purchasing, warehouse, and design teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment

* Administrative Duties: Provide general, high-quality administrative support to the wider sales department

What We Are Looking For:

* Experience: Proven track record in a customer service or sales administration role. Experience with CRM systems or Sage is highly advantageous but not essential

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

* Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload effectively

* Interpersonal Skills: A confident communicator with a positive collaborative, and team-oriented mindset
