Job Description - Customer Support Manager

We have a great new opportunity for a Customer Support Manager working for a market leader within the HVAC sector.

The company has been established for 60 years and continues to grow and flourish.

This is a lovely and rewarding opportunity to work with a great team in beautiful modern offices situated in the heart of High Wycombe.

Salary is £32K-£35K +performance bonuses and many other great perks and benefits including;

The hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and is fully office based. There is no hybrid option.

They are looking for someone with very strong customer service, administrative and management skills as well as strong organisational skills.

People and conflict Management skills are imperative and also the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will be managing a team of six people, 3 within the customer service team and three within the sales team.

Main responsibilities include

  • Lead and manage the Internal Sales and Customer Service Team
  • Oversee order processing, quotation preparation, and customer account management.
  • Ensure timely and effective handling of customer enquiries, complaints, and technical support needs.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless order fulfilment and resolve delivery issues.
  • Use CRM and ERP systems to manage workflows and reporting.
  • Identify areas for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement existing customer service policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Issue quotes, diligently follow up, and ensure the Sales Team maintains a similar commitment.
  • Train and develop team members,
  • Prepare and present the Sales Review reports, providing insights, commentary, and actionable recommendations.
