Excellent opportunity for a Customs Clearance specialist, to join a well-established freight forwarding business, where you'll take full ownership of customs procedures and work with a highly experienced, close-knit team.

This well-established freight forwarding business, specialising in ocean imports from the Far East. With direct links to all major UK ports and airports, they handle global shipments across sea, air, road, and rail. Their deep industry expertise and modern approach make them a trusted partner for importers and exporters across the UK.

In this role, you'll be managing import customs entries, liaising with clients and carriers, ensuring compliance with HMRC and tariff regulations, and supporting customers with technical advice on procedures, duties, and documentation.

THE ROLE:
*Processing import customs clearances using CDS
*Liaising with clients, carriers, and hauliers to obtain accurate documentation
*Advising on commodity codes, duties, and UK import procedures
*Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and ISO/AEO standards
*Using systems like Destin8, CNS, and Multi-freight
*Preparing invoices

THE PERSON:
*Previous experience working in import/export/freight forwarding
*Knowledge of CDS (Customer Declaration Service)
*Experience using CNS & Destin8
