Job Description - Customs Coordinator 12 month maternity cover

We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator to join our fast-paced freight forwarding team. In this role, you’ll ensure smooth and compliant customs clearances for import shipments for a 12 month maternity cover.Key Responsibilities:

Submit accurate customs declarations (import)
Ensure HMRC and regulatory compliance
Handle procedures such as IPR/OPR, AEO, and licensing
Liaise with internal teams and occasionally customers
Track shipments and resolve customs delays
Maintain records and support audits
Use ASM Sequoia and other customs platforms

Prefered Skills:

Experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding
Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures
Familiarity with ASM Sequoia, CHIEF, or CDS
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Working Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30pm
