Customs Coordinator

Our client, a privately owned freight forwarder is looking to recruit an experienced Customs Coordinator to join their team at their offices based in Portsmouth. This role would suit someone with a year+ experience.

The Role:

As a Customs Coordinator you will be responsible for preparing Customs entries, ensuring that goods are classified to the correct tariff code & using the correct procedure code. You will also be involved in other aspects of the shipping process, dealing with overseas agent, shipping lines and transport companies.

Essential Criteria:

• Experienced in completing import entries
• Confident using the Tariff
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Sound knowledge of CNS/CDS
• Ability to prioritise workload

Salary & Benefits:

The company is looking to pay between £26K and £28K, depending on experience for the right candidate
