Customs Specialist

Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Customs Specialist individual to join our friendly and proactive Client in Chelmsford, Essex.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Permanent, Full-time position

Permanent role available at this company as they continue to expand with long term contracts being won.

You will be spend your day assisting the team with their entries and occasionally will work on your own entries. You will handle post-clearances when required and will be able to upskill another team member to handle these as well.

Day to Day duties include:

• Loading jobs in Multifreight when required
• Preparing CDS entries
• Ongoing learning and teaching of Customs Regimes/Commodity Codes/CPC Codes
• Handling post-Clearance documents.

You will need:

• Confident and outgoing individual.
• Experience with exports to EU, USA and Far-East.
• Experience with niche clearances.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with entries of all kinds.
• Be able to organise and multi-task.
• Experience with Far-East Imports.
• Good time management skills.
• UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
