Customs Specialist - Freight Forwarding

Are you a passionate about all things Customs & International Trade? Would you consider yourself an expert in this field? Do you have exceptional analytical skills with keen eye for detail? Then this could be the role for you?

The Role:

As a Customs Expert would need a solid customs background with up-to-date knowledge on all thing Customs related. Ideally you will be from a freight forwarding background or even worked for HMRC.
You would be responsible for monitor changes in Customs legislation, analyse, document, and provide guidance to the business.

You will be a mentor and Coach to the forwarding team and the wider business & clients,
The successful candidate will be involved in Customs projects and be a focal go-to point in the business, as well as during busy periods be hands on with the team completing declarations.

Essential Criteria:

• Solid Customs background
• Good understanding - import / export requirements
• Experience in business analysis.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
