Key Responsibilities

?? Inspect and evaluate welding procedures, welders' qualifications, and completed welds

?? Review project specifications, codes, and drawings to ensure quality standards are met

??? Perform visual inspections, ultrasonic testing (UT), and other non-destructive testing (NDT) as required

?? Document inspection results and maintain accurate reports and records

?? Ensure compliance with AISC, AWS, and other relevant codes and standards

?? Provide feedback and recommendations for improving welding processes and quality control

???? Mentor and train junior staff on welding techniques and quality control practices

What You Bring

?? CWI Certification required (AWS or equivalent)

?? Experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals welding inspections

??? Proficiency with industry inspection software and tools (e.g., NDT equipment, digital reporting systems)

?? Knowledge of AISC, AWS, and applicable welding codes and standards

?? Strong communication skills for reporting and liaising with project teams

?? Detail-oriented with the ability to detect and address issues in welding quality and processes
