Cyber Security Analyst

Remote | NHS Programme | Outside IR35 | £400 per day

Help protect critical NHS digital services.

We're working with a large NHS organisation embarking on a significant technology transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen their cyber capability.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced environment supporting critical healthcare systems whilst working remotely.

The Role

You will play a key part in identifying, investigating and responding to cyber security threats and incidents across a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Monitoring and responding to security incidents

* Investigating cyber security alerts

* Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) analysis and remediation

* Managing SIEM, EDR and NDR alert activity

* Supporting cyber incident response processes

* Assisting with security investigations and reporting

* Supporting information security and compliance activities

* Working closely with technical and security teams to improve cyber resilience

Experience Required

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience of:

* NHS experience
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)

* Security Operations or SOC environments

* SIEM monitoring and incident response

* Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

* Network Detection and Response (NDR)

* Microsoft 365 Security

* Threat investigation and remediation

* Cyber security frameworks and best practice

Desirable:

* AZ-500

* SSCP

* Microsoft Security certifications

Package:

* £400 per day

* Outside IR35

* Fully remote

* Initial 6-month contract

* Immediate start available
