Cyber Security Architect - UK (Remote/Flexible)
Up to £70,000 | SC Eligible | No Sponsorship

We are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact security solutions across enterprise IT and operational technology environments. This role is open across the UK and offers the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to complex, high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement security architecture for enterprise IT systems and operational technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and solutions architects, information assurance, and penetration testing teams to validate and enhance security controls.
  • Apply threat modeling techniques to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage security requirements throughout the system lifecycle, from design through to operational deployment.
  • Provide specialist guidance on risk, control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS), protective monitoring, authentication, and authorization best practices.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and project teams.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
  • SC eligible; no sponsorship available.
  • Strong technical experience in one or more areas: IP networking & OT, on-premises architecture & virtualization, cloud platforms & containerization, databases & LLMs, mobile technologies & application security.
  • Experience managing security requirements through system delivery and operational lifecycle.
  • Demonstrable skills in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security design.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience as a Security Architect or in a security-focused technical specialist role.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS.
  • Experience integrating security across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
