Cyber Security Architect Threat Modelling/ Data Security

Are you passionate about staying ahead of evolving cyber threats? We're looking for a Threat Modelling and Data Security Architect to join our team and lead the charge in designing secure systems from the ground up!

About the role:

As a key member of the security architecture team, you'll be responsible for building and maturing threat modelling capabilities and embedding security into the core of our systems. You'll work cross-functionally with engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure proactive identification and mitigation of risks.

What you'll do:

• Lead and evolve the enterprise threat modelling framework
• Identify security risks across infrastructure, applications, and data layers
• Collaborate with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to integrate security early in the development lifecycle
• Develop data security strategies covering encryption, data classification, DLP, and secure data flows
• Provide architectural guidance on secure cloud, hybrid, and on-prem solutions
• Drive awareness of security best practices through training and tooling

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in threat modelling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, DREAD, PASTA)
• Strong background in data security, secure architecture design, and risk assessment
• Familiarity with frameworks such as SABSA, NIST, or ISO27001
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Certifications like TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, CCSP, or similar
• Experience with secure software development practices (SSDLC, DevSecOps)
• Previous experience in regulated industries (finance)
• Eligibility to work in Europe is mandatory (no visa sponsorship can be provided)
