Cyber Security Assurance Manager

We're looking for an experienced Cyber Security Assurance Manager to support security assurance across secure networks, cloud environments and UK Defence projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GRC-focused cyber security professional with UK MOD experience to take ownership of security frameworks, risk assessments and compliance within a highly secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead security assurance across secure networks and cloud systems.

*

Manage risk assessments, security frameworks and compliance documentation.

*

Ensure alignment with MOD standards, including Def Stan 05-138 and the Cyber Security Model.

*

Conduct audits, track remediation plans and support external assessments.

*

Advise stakeholders on security risks and regulatory requirements.

Essential Experience

*

Cyber security experience within a UK MOD or Defence environment.

*

Strong knowledge of Def Stan 05-138, DCPP Cyber Security Model and NCSC guidance.

*

Experience in GRC, risk assessment, compliance and security assurance.

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Security clearance required, subject to the relevant vetting process.
