Job Description

What we are looking for
Looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with excellent people skills, looking to build a successful career in a commercially focused role. If this sounds like you, we have an opportunity for someone to join our growing sales department, as a Business Development Manager. Cyber security experience is not required, but we are looking for someone with sales experience (it would be preferable if this is experience within the technology/SaaS sector, but it's not essential). We're looking for personable, articulate, out-going individuals who can demonstrate a successful sales career to-date. We offer a comprehensive training plan tailored to individuals to help you develop your sales skills including, but not limited, to SPIN selling and The Challenger Sale.

The role
Day to day, you'll seek out new business opportunities via phone-based prospecting, as well as LinkedIn and email. You'll speak with IT/technology leadership and heads of information security, managing the end-to-end sales process from arranging initial meetings and demoing the Boxphish platform through to, finalising contracts and handing projects over to our customer success team. You'll be responsible for delivering against a sales target within your designated territory, working closely with the VP of Sales. On top of your basic salary, you'll earn commission, which is completely uncapped and based on closed business.
Requirements
* A minimum of 1 years' working in a similar role
* Degree educated or like-for-like qualifications
* Proven track record of successfully hitting sales targets
* Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
* Good phone manner and interpersonal skills
* An ambitious attitude to succeed and achieve career progression
* A competitive nature will set you apart
