D365 Systems Accountant

Join us as a D365 Systems Accountant and play a key role in shaping how finance works across the business. You'll lead system improvements, streamline processes, and be the go-to expert for Dynamics 365 - with the opportunity to influence real decisions, elevate your skills, and make a real impact.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Products and embedded into the finance teams, you'll own the financial systems within Travel Counsellors, ensuring finance users are correctly supported, and the system evolves with the growth of the business.

The focus of this D365 Systems Accountant role is to maintain, configure, and evolve financial systems as an advanced user, with support from our technical support teams and a specialist partner.

This is an ideal role for someone who is financially-minded - whether trained, qualified or experienced, organised, confident in prioritising tasks, and enjoys the systems and process side of a financial team, in collaboration with financial and technical colleagues.

• You will be the systems owner, ensuring that systems are available, maintained, supported, and improved in line with In-Life BAU activity.
• Implement, amend, and maintain finance processes and system configurations across the finance systems, including troubleshooting issues.
• Provide 1st line operational user support in collaboration with the technical helpdesk and support with escalating issues to the 2nd line support partners.
• Key stakeholder of the incident team in collaboration with the technical support desk in the event of unplanned outages and P1/P2 issues.
• Own and execute the release processes in line with the technology and supplier partners, including regression testing and automated suites.
• Collect, plan, and execute development improvements to the finance systems in collaboration with internal and external partners.

• Expert proficiency in the capability, configuration, process flows and functionality of MS D365 F&O
• Significant understanding of financial roles, process, and concepts, including AP, AR, management reporting, and other areas
• Ability to create and/or amend process maps using Visio (or similar), to help enhance system capabilities and user experience
• Experience and knowledge of working to Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Prior experience providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for finance system issues across a range of stakeholders
• Formal finance qualifications would be desirable, though not essential
