Are you an energetic and creative Dance Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of performers? Dunbar Education is delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity at a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Telford, starting September 2025.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join the Performing Arts department and help students express themselves through movement, creativity, and performance.

• Role: Dance Teacher

• Start Date: September 2025

• Location: Telford, Shropshire

• Contract: Full-time (temporary or permanent options considered)

• Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Dance lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Inspire students to explore dance technique, performance, and choreography

• Contribute to extra-curricular activities, school productions, and showcases

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and creativity

• Collaborate with the Performing Arts team to deliver a dynamic and enriching curriculum

• Holds QTS or relevant teaching qualification in Dance or Performing Arts

• Has experience teaching Dance in a secondary school setting

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge

• Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for student development

• Has experience with school performances and/or leading extra-curricular clubs (desirable)

• A supportive and collaborative Performing Arts department
