Books are open. Students are waiting. Some are ready. Some are sceptical. Some are quietly confident they already know what history is.
By the end of the lesson, they understand something different: history is not about remembering dates — it is about understanding why things happened, who held power, and how decisions shaped lives.
That is what this History Teacher role is about.
